Tetanti AgriBiotech Entered Indonesian Market with a Business Collaboration worth USD 100 Million
Tetanti AgriBiotech Inc., an agricultural biotechnology company cultivated by Diamond Biofund (TWSE: 6901), signed the first phase of contract with Indonesian Unigreen Technology International Group to start the construction of an organic waste treatment plant, on the ceremony held at Indonesian Trade and Economic Office in Taipei today (28th). The two parties will use the “organic waste enzyme rapid processing TTT® technology” developed by Tetanti AgriBiotech to undertake the processing of organic waste from the fruit and vegetable market in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Indonesian official delegation who came to Taiwan to witness the signing ceremony today includes the Indonesian Deputy Director of Investment Environment and Development, the General Director of Agriculture and Industry, and the General Director of Agricultural Infrastructure. It is reported that the Indonesian Minister of Environment will also come to Taiwan shortly to discuss with Tetanti AgriBiotech to expand the application of “organic waste enzyme rapid processing TTT® technology” in Indonesian market.
Indonesian Unigreen Technology International Group is expected to invest US$100 million in succession to introduce the technology of Tetanti AgriBiotech to solve the problem of Indonesia’s inability to process large amounts of organic waste in an environmental friendly manner. It is expected to reduce Indonesia’s carbon emissions by at least 200 million kilograms per year.
Tetanti AgriBiotech is an agricultural biotechnology company cultivated by Diamond Biofund. The “organic waste enzyme rapid processing TTT® technology” developed by the founder, Chiu-Chung Young, Ph.D., Academician of Academia Sinica, is the only technology in the world that can process organic waste within 3 hours. It is an innovative technology that converts organic waste into organic fertilizer, which can standardize and process large quantities of organic waste in an industrialized manner. It is different from burning, burying, landfilling, or traditional microbial composting methods that take 3 to 6 months and a large space. Tetanti AgriBiotech’s technology not only processes organic waste and converts it into organic fertilizer, it is also applicable to the carbon reduction methodology, AMS-III-F, of the United Nations CDM. Each ton of organic waste processed can obtain approximately 200~450 kilograms of CO2 equivalent carbon credits. The space benefits of accumulated carbon credits are more than 3,000 times that of planting trees. In addition to being an agricultural biotechnology company, Tetanti AgriBiotech is also an emerging green technology company that can provide carbon reduction solutions under the global ESG trend. Moreover, Tetanti AgriBiotech will also stride towards AI-sensored unmanned organic waste management complex in the future.
Shuling Cheng, Ph.D., President of Diamond Biofund, said that Tetanti AgriBiotech is a company co-founded from the early laboratory stage by Diamond Biofund and Academician Chiu-Chung Young, Ph.D. The innovative technology developed by Tetanti is industrialized to solve the long-standing environmental problems caused by organic waste to obtain tradable carbon credits, marking it a very forward-looking agricultural biotechnology company. Tetanti is expecting to enter the capital market in the near future with the promise of operation growth.
