5. Cause of occurrence: Diamond Biofund I Inc. was established with NT$4 billion raised through a public offering by Diamond Biofund Inc. Of this amount, NT$2 billion was allocated to establish Biofund I Inc., inviting participation from life insurance companies and funds. Investments from Fubon Life Insurance Co., Ltd and Taishin Life Insurance Co., Ltd. have already been approved. Considering international investment strategy, Diamond Biofund I Inc. plans to collaborate with Diamond Biofund Inc.to develop sustainable investments on a larger scale. Consequently, Diamond Biofund I Inc. has decided to adjust its investment strategy and terminate external fundraising. This resolution was approved by the Diamond Biofund Inc. Board of Directors on December 23.
